Worldwide Non Exclusive Royalty Free License Agreement

Our simplified no-fuss no-worries royalty free licensing model is ideal for content, film, video or game audio creators whether you're an individual, company or organisation. We believe the transparency of our licensing model of one license, one time for all, without attribution, not only keeps things simple and flexible for end users it also promotes a fair use relationship which can be easily upheld.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Royalty Free Sound Libraries (hereon referred to as RFSL) products/sounds are protected by copyright law and are licensed not sold to you (the Licensee). RFSL own the copyright to the products/sounds here licensed and other than the license rights granted in this agreement, all rights remain the intellectual property of RFSL, (the Licensor).

GRANT OF LICENSE

When you purchase a license to any of our sounds, sound effects, sound libraries or packs, from this website, Bandcamp, Wix or Gumroad, RFSL, grants you (the Licensee) a worldwide, non exclusive, royalty free license to use any and all sounds and effects outlined in this agreement.

RIGHTS GRANTED

This license agreement grants the following rights to you as the Licensee:

1. Use of the licensed sound effects on an unlimited number of projects for their lifetime.
2. Use of the licensed sound effects for both personal and commercial projects without attribution to RFSL.
3. Use of the licensed sound effects for synchronization in audio and visual projects such as films, television, radio, documentaries, commercials, video games, podcasts, audio dramas, applications, blogs and websites, school and university projects, prisons, concerts, theater, live events, and prototype projects.
4. Royalty free use of the licensed sound effects for any musical compositions.
5. With this license you the licensees may modify and create derivative works from your purchased sounds and effects and sell them without any attribution or royalties to RFSL, but you may not under any circumstances sell our original sounds in their unmodified form.

LIMITATIONS

1. The Licensee may not claim ownership of RFSL sounds.
2. The Licensee may not sell any of the licensed sound effects in their original form for commercial gain.
3. The Licensee may not upload any of the licensed sound effects in their original form to any media platform such as YouTube or Spotify, for commercial gain.
   

WARRANTY, LIABILITY & TERMINATION

RFSL make every effort to ensure the accuracy and quality of our files and content. However, we cannot guarantee that they will be suitable or correct for your specific needs and are licensed 'as is' without any express or implied warranty of any kind.

Our products are sold according to the specifications provided in the product descriptions, and it is the Licensees responsibility to ensure that they are suitable for their intended use. Therefore, RFSL accept no liability for any damages resulting from the incorrect usage of our products.

Our files and content are intended as a recommendation only and do not replace the specialist qualifications required to work with them. We strongly advise seeking legal and other specialist advice before using any of our products if necessary. If the Licensee neglects to do so and damage occurs as a result, RFSL will not be liable for those damages.

RFSL is not liable for any damage (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, or any other pecuniary loss) arising from the use of or inability to use any of our products.

We will not be responsible if the content does not fit your specific purpose. We cannot be held responsible for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from the use of any sound samples licensed from our sites.

RFSL cannot be held responsible for any damages or losses, including loss of business or business profits, business interruption, or any other direct or indirect loss resulting from the use of any asset/product/sound/file from RFSL.

In the event that you are dissatisfied with our products, you have the right to request a refund within 7 days.

The license granted under this agreement, and the Licensees right of use will automatically terminate in the event of any breach by the Licensee of the terms of this agreement. In such an event, the Licensee will be required to destroy all copies of the asset/product/sound/files they have produced and further access to our products will be denied.

Please note that the royalty free terms apply to all recordings that Royalty Free Sound Libraries has recorded and may not include third-party sounds that may appear in the background of some recordings. If you download sounds that contain third-party sound effects, you do so at your own risk.

This privacy policy has been prepared in line with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which promotes fairness and transparency for all individuals in respect of their personal data. This privacy policy applies to all data we process and by using our website and/or services you consent to our collection and use of such data.
